Q: Who is Crown Asset Management, LLC?

A: Crown Asset Management, LLC acquires and manages consumer receivables from originating creditors and other businesses after they have charged off the accounts.

Q: Why am I being told to call another company if Crown owns my account?

A: Crown places all consumer accounts into our network of collection agencies and law firms. Our servicers work with the consumer to resolve accounts.

Q: Can I send a payment directly to Crown?

A: Because all collection matters are handled by Crown's servicers, we ask that consumers communicate directly with the assigned agency or law firm handling the account.

Q: What should I do if the debt doesn’t belong to me?

A: The agency or firm assigned to handle the consumer’s account has processes in place for reporting dispute and fraud claims to Crown for investigation. Consumers should contact the servicer handling the account for additional information on how to lodge a dispute or fraud claim.

Q: How do I prove that my account has been settled?

A: The agency or firm that handled the consumer’s account can issue written confirmation that the matter has been settled once all funds have cleared.
